New Errors and Omissions Insurance Program for Members of the Institute of Municipal Assessors
The Institute of Municipal Assessors (IMA) is pleased to announce a new errors & omissions liability insurance program for those members who require such coverage. This program has been designed for IMA members engaged in providing property assessment and taxation services, and representation at property assessment and taxation tribunals within the Province of Ontario. The program is competitive, provides superior service, and has been specially designed to meet the needs of the IMA membership.
We have selected Insurance Portfolio Inc. as the broker and ENCON Insurance Managers as the underwriters for this program.
Some of the details of this coverage are as follows:
· Policy wordings compliant with the Law Society of Upper Canada (LSUC) requirements.
· Exclusive and lowest premiums/rates.
· Flexibility of Liability limits.
· The following chart outlines the base limits offered through this program, please note customized packages are also available.

· Retirement/Death/Disability/Cessation of Business Endorsement available.
· Penal Defense Reimbursement sublimit of $50,000. included.
· No Retroactive Date for new claims taken against prior service.
